Terms of Service
The terms for using Remixing and the services we provide.
Acceptance of terms
By signing up for or using Remixing, you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you are using Remixing on behalf of a company, team, or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms and that the entity will be responsible for all use of the service under your account.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use Remixing. Remixing is operated by Supertype Pte. Ltd. (“Supertype”, “we”, or “us”).
What Remixing provides
Remixing turns a codebase into short-form video. You connect a repository or point us at a deployed site, we read the pages you already built, and the surfaces we find are rebuilt as a reel you can edit, render, publish and download. We provide access to the features, integrations and render capacity you enable in your workspace, subject to your credit balance, applicable limits, and the configuration choices you make in the product.
Your responsibilities
- Lawful use: You must use Remixing in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies, including any applicable GitHub, Google, or third-party platform terms that govern the repositories, sites and data you connect to our service.
- Account security: You are responsible for keeping your workspace, sign-in accounts, and admin access secure. Installing the GitHub App or inviting members grants access to your workspace, and you remain responsible for what those grants allow.
- Rights in what you point at: You must own, or be licensed to use, every repository, deployed site, logo, image and mark you bring into a reel. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the content you upload or sync into a workspace.
- Authorized use: You may not use Remixing to read, inspect, or process repositories, sites, or workspace data belonging to people who have not consented to that access or who are not otherwise permitted to have it processed under your contract, policy, or legal rights.
Your content and the reels you make
You keep ownership of the repositories, sites, uploads and brand material you bring to the service, and of the reels rendered from them. By using Remixing you grant us the rights needed to operate the service on your behalf: to read what you connect, store and version the reel documents you edit, render video from them, and serve the files back to you and to anyone holding a share link you publish.
Sharing is off until you turn it on. A published reel is reachable by anyone who has the link, so treat a share link as the credential it is. Clearing the link revokes every copy of it at once.
Credits and payment
Every workspace starts once with 35 free credits, enough for 5 videos, which carry a small watermark. After that, Remixing is paid for with credit packs. A pack is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: nothing renews and you are never charged automatically. By buying a pack you agree to pay the price shown at checkout, including any taxes or payment fees.
Credits are spent on composing and rendering videos at the rates on our pricing page. Previews and failed renders cost nothing. Credits do not expire. Once a workspace has bought a pack, the videos it renders from then on carry no watermark.
We may change pack prices or credit rates with reasonable notice. A change never reduces what credits you have already bought are worth under the rates in effect when you bought them.
Data handling and privacy
Remixing processes data to run the scans, editing and rendering you ask for. Our collection and use of personal and workspace data is described in our Privacy Policy, which also covers how to remove your data from the service. By using Remixing, you acknowledge and agree that we may process data as described there, including the transmission of data to third-party services when needed to provide a feature you have turned on.
Availability and service changes
We aim to keep Remixing available and reliable, but no hosted software service is guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. Renders are queued work and can fail, be retried, or be delayed under load. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time, including features, integrations, pricing, or support, for operational, security, legal, or business reasons.
Intellectual property
Remixing and its software, interfaces, scene library, trademarks, and related materials remain the property of Supertype and its licensors. You retain ownership of the content, data, and materials you provide to the service, but by using Remixing you grant us the rights necessary to operate the service, process your requests, and provide the features you have enabled.
You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit the service except as expressly permitted in these Terms or in a written agreement with Supertype.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Remixing if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the service, reverse a payment you made, or if continued use would create a legal, security, or operational risk. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends, and we may delete or disable access to your workspace data, including stored renders and uploaded assets, in accordance with our retention policy and the Privacy Policy.
Limitation of liability
Remixing is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that it will meet every business or operational requirement.
Except where prohibited by law, Supertype shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of business, or loss of data, arising out of or relating to use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claims under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or, if no fees were paid, to a nominal amount determined by applicable law.
Indemnification and dispute resolution
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Supertype, its affiliates, and employees from claims arising from your use of Remixing, including misuse of the service, unauthorized access to third-party systems or repositories, or violation of applicable law. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Singapore for resolving such disputes, unless a different governing law is required by local regulations.
Changes to the terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the service, legal requirements, or operational needs. When we do, we will post the updated version and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
